Wizzy: The Multi-Talented Artist Balancing Rap, Rock, and the Business of Music

In an era where many musicians stick to one lane, Wizzy is carving out several at once. As a rapper and singer, he’s making waves with his versatility — switching seamlessly between sharp, hard-hitting hip-hop verses and melodic hooks, while experimenting with fusions of pop, country, and rock.

But Wizzy isn’t just a solo artist. He’s a drummer for Sheffield indie-rock band Nova Falls, contributing his rhythms and creative input to their evolving sound. While frontman Jack is the face and leader of the band, Wizzy has been instrumental in shaping their music, drumming on the upcoming single “At My Own Pace” and previously supporting their debut track “Terminal Haze.”Outside Nova Falls, Wizzy’s musical life is equally busy. He’s a session musician for local bands, earning a reputation as a reliable and dynamic drummer who can adapt to different styles. Through his university project, he collaborates with a house band that instantly picks up his ideas, turning his original compositions into live performances — a testament to his songwriting ability and natural leadership in the studio.Looking forward, Wizzy’s ambitions stretch beyond performance. Wizzystar Demos Freestyle

Wizzystar first-ever freestyle rap all recorded over his phone using kindmaster in one day.

He recorded these raps spontaneously for fun, freestyling over beats he discovered on YouTube. Without a pre-planned concept, he improvised the lyrics in the moment, focusing purely on flow and rhythm rather than the meaning of the words. He used Kindmaster, a platform for recording videos and audio. Not knowing how it works, he plays a beat and starts rapping, saying every word in his head.
